Day 1


On the first day of my immersion, I tried to be a responsible in everything I did. When I enter the room, I still fell shy and not used to the place. I did not  sit down when Ma’am was teaching, because I want to show respect. That’s why I became very tired that day, and my whole body hurt because I stood for almost seven hours.

Since I was too shy to sit, I just did different tasks like sweeping, helping the students read, and even teaching right away. I did not  expect that I would enjoy being in the school. When I was a young, I never wanted to teach or become a teacher. But I realized that teaching is a nice job. It was hard for me to leave because the students were very kind, and they became special to me even if we were only together for ten days.

Day 8

On the eighth day, I went to school early because the students had an early flag raising. I helped line them up and watched them. After that, I checked their notebooks. Ma’am principal also asked me to take a picture because the principal did a demo in the room where I was observing.

On the second to the last day, I assembled the book container and fixed the Reading Panther. I also let the students read, and of course, I had to be patient because the kids were very playful.

Day 4

On my fourth day of immersion, I organized the Reading Panther.  Also ma’am told me to assist the kids in the Scout program. That was also the day of Tina Pancho to shared a story with the students. In the afternoon, they had an earthquake drill, so we all went outside.
